One last shot of Nate in Pirate black and gold before Braves blue!

Nate's last after winning game T.V. interview - it was Tuesday night 6/2. The boys smacked the mets around again that night. Nate hit a triple in the 7th or 8th - can't remember. But I do know what he was stranded there. Neither LaRoche could get him home. He was and is a fun player to watch play. He has made many shallow center field blurbber look easy to grap. But overall, we need talented arms in the farm system. If ya haven't noticed, we don't have any up-and-coming pitching. Withought ptiching and defense, a team is doomed to lose - look at last year's Bucs. This front office is extremely serious about these two elements of the game. So serious that they went out and found, if not the best then the second best pitching coach in Joe Kerrigan and the best infield coach in Perry Hill. The 09 Bucs are ranked at the top or near the top in many defensive statics in all the majors. And while our #2, #4, and #5 rotation starters leave alot to be desired, they are, for the most part, holding their own. NOTE: expect for Jeff Karestens pooping his pants last night in walks and leaving his curve ball up in the zone our pitchers are giving quality starts almost each and every time they pitch. Now, if we just have the run support for Zack Duke's stellar outings and for Paul Maholm's good innings and get Ian Snell, Ross Ohlendorf, and Karstens to refine their command and location we would be in business baby!

This was taken last season after the Pirates killed the Dodgers.
Adam it not one but two home runs - the second was a grandslam -
and Andy hit a think and RBI double or triple. You can see what I mean in

point 2 from my last post! That was a great night
. Hopefully this soon,
we will have many more nights like that to celebrate!
